He is survived by: his wife Kathey Sanner Scheuer; his children, Kyle Scheuer (Taryn), Dr. Kelly Scheuer (Charley Case), Kacie Scheuer (James Brown), Robert Benford (Jannelle) and Rich Benford (Lisa); his grandchildren, Gordon, Guinevere, Gilbert Scheuer, Dominique, Rylee, Tyler and Robert Benford; his siblings, Suzanne Leone (Chuck) and Gerald Scheuer; and his sister-in-law Sue Scheuer.
