We bid farewell to James Satrape (Erie, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 90. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy and James; his former wife Statia (Zawistowski); his wife Sonya (Krivonak); his sister Anita Callahan; and his stepson Jason Collins.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, James (Manon) of Akron, Chris (Alessandra) of San Diego, Victoria Beals (Kip) of Franklin, Jennifer Castello (Greg) of West Virginia, Eric Collins of Erie and Nathan Aulenbacher (Stephanie) of Erie. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
