He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Salyers and Mamie Salyers (Turner); his wife Dosha Salyers (Thomas); his children, Elmo Salyers and Roda Steele; and his siblings, Viola Day, Floyd Salyers, Lloyd Salyers, Mary Weigel and Charnettie Chatt.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Salyers of Erie, James Salyers of Geneva, FL. and Bill Salyers (Debi) of Geneva, FL.; and his sisters, June Potter Teats and Bonnie Breakiron of Erie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
