He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James F. Merry, Sr. and Frances Merry (Neally); his former wife Florence Merry (Sitter); his daughters, Kathleen Merry and Charlene Szklenski; his brother William Merry; his wife Donna Raupers-Merry (Zimmerman); his children, James F. Merry III (Leslie) of Meadville, Patricia Booser (Clint) of Millcreek and Michael Merry; his grandson Christopher J. Merry of Erie; his sister Betty Ann Maille of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Carolyn Baldwin (Gary Johnson), Vicki Santone (Guy), Rebecca Allen (Brent) and Paul Raupers (Mary); and his pet Katie. He was also cherished by twelve step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren.
