He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Taraski and Alberta Weaver Taraski. He is survived by: his wife Karen Schade Taraski; his children, Heidi Taraski, Troy Taraski (Melissa), Holly Taraski (Tom Torrance), Corry Taraski (Megan) and Gene Horne (Shannon); and his sister Jodie Kalista. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
