She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Durfield and Helen Durfield (Condry); her husband Jack Keister; her son John III; her grandmother Barbara Condry; her uncle Tom Condry; and her friend Doris Reiter.
She is survived by: her children, Mary-Catherine and Gerry; and her grandchildren, Mary-Jo Battle (Gerald), John IV, Alex Keister and Eilise Keister. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
After graduation she became the CCD Administrator at St George's parish; Director of Social Volunteer Services at Doctors Osteopath Hospital; Executive Director of the American Cancer Society; and a teacher at Villa Maria College Business Division.
