He was predeceased by: his parents, Audley Brown and Emma Thornhill Brown; his wife Paula Denning Brown; and his siblings, Donald "Bud" Brown, Claudia Brown Meyke and Marilyn Root.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Brown (Pat) of Fairview and Darcy Brown of Arizona; and his caregiver Patricia Anderson of Erie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
