It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene E. Nemergut of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Edward Winiarczyk and Edith Winiarczyk (Nagy); her sister Mary Ann Dodick; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Dodick and Barbara "Susie" Winiarczyk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Sabella (John), Susan Bazala (Thomas), Mary Beth Hoyt (Robert) and Linda Gross (William); and her brothers, Edward (Sherry), Alexander and Joseph Winiarczyk (Peggy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Church (130 E 4th St, Erie, PA 16507). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (5711 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505).
