It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Stanley Ketchel of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ketchel and Helen Konkol Ketchel; and his brother Norman Ketchel (Edel). He is survived by: his wife Carol Byrd Ketchel; his children, Christopher Ketchel, Kelly Brown, Kerry Holton (Terry) and Kyle Ketchel (Kelly); his grandchildren, Chase Ketchel (Casey), Meghan Brown, Ryan Brown, Timothy Brown, Mason Holton, Madison Holton, Ethan Ketchel and Victoria Ketchel; and his great grandchildren, Kynsley and Mackayla. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge (3801 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services West Ridge (3801 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16506).
