We bid farewell to Gerald Luthringer of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Gerald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto J Luthringer and Dorothy Luthringer (Dudenhoeffer); and his brothers, Paul, Donald and Thomas Luthringer.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Margie" Luthringer (Cloyd); his children, Cynthia Krahe (Chris), Jeffrey (Sandra), Daniel (Michele) and Steven Luthringer (Brenda); and his brother Otto Jr. Luthringer (Butch). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (1626 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16508).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Emmaus Ministries Soup Kitchen, 218 East 11th Street, Erie PA 16503.
