He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Nelson and Florence Kobel Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Chadwick Nelson; his daughters, Tracey Stahura and Amanda Nelson; his grandchildren, Theodore and Devyn Stahura; and his siblings, James, Michael Nelson and Patricia Neuenschwander (Pride). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
