He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ortiz (Gumm); his children, Franco Alvarez, Randy Ortiz (Ashley), Jason Ortiz (Amy), Chris Ortiz, Franklin Ortiz and Jonathan Ortiz (Nathalia); and his siblings, Jenny Araya, Yadira Duran (Mario), Alberto Ortiz (Sonia), Douglas Ortiz (Zula) and Maria Elena Figueroa (Victor Hugo). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
