It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Valere Sigmond Gourley of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen A. Sigmond and Florence M. Postas Sigmond; her husband Robert Gourley; her siblings, Elaine McLaughlin and Ronald Sigmond; and her daughter-in-law Kathryn Barrett.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Francis; her sons, Patrick J. Gourley (Colleen) of Millcreek Twp, Keith D. Gourley of Chatham, MA and Scott S. Gourley (Kathi) of Erie; her grandchildren, Meghan Gourley (Kris), Meredith Reininger (Mason), Katelyn Ballew (Owen) and Aaron Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Eli and Artie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (3325 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505).
