He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin R. and Esther Johnson Nelson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rose of Millcreek Twp; his children, Linda (Paul), Eric (Annamarie) and Timothy (Mary Lou); his grandchildren, Jeremiah (Joyce), Rebecca, Tyler (Christina), Thomas (Adinna) and Emily; his great grandchildren, William, Josephine, Malachi, Tara, Matilda and Elijah; his stepchildren, Bernadette (Matt), Erica and Steven; his stepgrandchildren, Gabrielle, Ava, Gian and Matthew; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leo and Reagan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie City Mission, or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
