He was predeceased by: his father János Miseta. He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Miseta (Konya) of Erie; his wife Cathy Miseta (Villella) of Millcreek; his sisters, Janet Nielsen (Gerry) and Mary Kae Miseta (Joe Nowicki); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Villella, Joseph Villella, Jr., James Villella (Joan) and Gerald Villella (Holly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
