He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Joseph and Erma Scheffner (Kuhn). He is survived by: his wife Susan Scheffner (Jerge); his children, Diane Scheffner-Greene (Daniel) of Erie and Ed Yacobozzi of Maryland; his siblings, John J. Scheffner and Rosemary Schryver (Ronald) of Erie; and his pet Tinkerbell. He is also survived by four stepchildren; six grandchildren.
