With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward M. Carniewski of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Waterford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Carniewski and Catherine Boxer Carniewski; his wife Doris J. McKrell; his son Mark Carniewski; and his siblings, William, Adolf, John, Andrew, Frank, Joseph Carniewski and Vera Boinski.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Pianta (Jack) of Erie; his grandchildren, Tony Pianta (Nikki) of Erie and Bethany Pianta of Erie; his great grandchildren, Hayleigh of Erie, Andrew of Erie and Amelia of Erie; and his sister-in-law Annabelle Kurtz of Elizabethtown, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
