He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watkins and Irene Wright Watkins; his wife Penelope A. Bliss Watkins; and his daughter-in-law Helena Gallant Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Melissa, Andrea Watkins of Erie and John-Andrew L. Watkins (Corinne) of Waterford, PA; his granddaughters, Catheryne Watkins of Erie, Cheyenne Treece (Andrew) of Cassandra, PA, Victoria Frost (Michael) of Wesleyville, PA, Dakota Watkins of Erie and Payton Hood of Erie; his great grandchildren, Graylynn Watkins, Michael Watkins and Waylon Frost; and his sister Debora Savelli of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, great-nieces and cousins.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4 to 6 p. m. All CDC requirements including wearing a mask will be observed. Interment will be private at Erie County Memorial Gardens with full military honors being rendered by the Erie Crawford County Burial Detail.
