She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rapela and Mary Ann Grzelak Rapela; her husband Carl J. Zawistoski; and her siblings, Walter, Joseph, Alexander, Jean Schneider, Mary Zawistoski and Stella Wojciechowski.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Henry of Erie, John Zawistoski of Erie, Paul, Dale, Eric Rapela, Norma Stasiewski (Tom) of Akron and Joyce Whaley of Florida.
