She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner F. Schafer and Karin Schafer (Newman); her husband Robert J. "Bob" Sokolowski; and her brothers, Barry, Ronnie and Dennis Schafer.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Sokolowski (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC and Matthew Sokolowski (Lauren Stonis) of Erie, PA.; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Collin, Ella and Samuel.
