He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Plyler and Shirley Copenhaver Plyler. He is survived by: his son Brian Plyler (Elizabeth) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Jace and Vonn; and his sisters, Barbara Hofmann (Thomas) of Erie and Christine Waterhouse (Daniel) of Cambridge Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
