Champion of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Kane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Smoke" Champion and Lorraine Paul Thornton; his daughter Heather D. Champion; and his siblings, Kevin Champion, Nancy and Jody Champion.
He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Keesler; his stepfather Robert "Bob" Thornton; his sons, Dennis M. Champion of Kane and Stephen D. Wenner of Johnsonburg; his grandchildren, Breydon Champion, Hunter Blymiller, Brooke Blymiller and Kylie Hayduk; and his siblings, Robert of Mt. Jewett, David Thornton of Mt. Jewett, Donna Ingersoll of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Arthurs (Bob) of Mt. Jewett, Elizabeth Ann Carpenter (Ralph) of Bradford, Dawn Bootes (Jeff) of Erie, Laurie Thornton of Bradford and Melvina Vito of Kane. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
