He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmidt (Wilson); his children, Andrew Schmidt (Amy), Kelly Gromacki (Thomas) and John Schmidt (Brad Aston); his sister Julie Iddings (Rob); and his close friend Jack Klapthor (Kathy).
