He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Blum and Mae Blum (Shanfelter); his wife Rose Marie Blum; his daughter Tracy Kazmierczak; and his siblings, John Blum and Mary Louise Blum.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Blum (April) and Kurt Blum (Christeen). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
