He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Thurston. He is survived by: his father Rubbie Thurston; his child Shaunel Thurston; his grandchildren, Trinity and Trenton; and his siblings, Dirk, Ruby, Margie, Jeffrey, Pamela and Nicole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
