He was predeceased by: his parents, Rutherford Hayes and Violet Hayes; his sisters, Eileen Godfrey and Renae Marinelli; his in-laws, Marie and William Coleman; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Fehr and Rebecca Hennessy.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn; his children, Elizabeth Hayes (Anthony JR), Aaron Hayes (Olivia) and Kathryn Hilbert (Kevin); his sisters, Wyola Fehr and Carolyn Parker (George); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Bryce Hilbert, Austin and Emme Hayes.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (816 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anna Shelter, The Humane Society of Erie, or a charity of your choice.
