With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis J. Melter of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 8, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis A. Melter and Ruth Melter (Flautt); and his aunt Evelyn Goodrich. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Melter (Niebauer); his children, Debbie Proctor (Richard) and Michael Melter (Kelly); his brother Douglas Melter; and his grandchildren, Samara Proctor, Madison Melter and Tyler Witosky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Times Old Newsies Needy Fund, P.O. Box 6216, Erie, PA 16512.
