He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Mason; his son Alexander Mason; his parents-in-law, Judith MacWhirter (Robert) and Thomas Mason; his sister-in-law Sandra Evans (Morgan); his mother Vicki Shafer; his sister Kelly Shafer; his nephew Nevin Shafer; and his pets, Stormshadow and Princess Westley.
