She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard S. Vinson and Pauline Lightfoot Vinson; her son Cesare H. Payne (Olivia); and her brothers, Arthur Stewart and Robert Vinson.
She is survived by: her children, Revita DeChalus (Roscoe), Tatia Payne-Swanson (Tom), Kirsten Payne Brown (Kevin) and Ricky Payne (Gerri); her grandchildren, Cordatra Payne Barkley (Eric), Jessica, Cassandra, Tyler, Victoria Swanson, Nicholas, Olivia Irvin, Cezanne (Trey), Cierra Payne and Kevin Brown (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Kharma, Jabari, Candace, Pharah, Trey and Kamilah; and her aunt Earline Watts. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
