He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl David and Fern E. Silbaugh Hanes; his daughter Michelle Bomboy; and his siblings, Maxine Seeley, Shirley Lundstrom and James Hanes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Jarrett Hanes; his son Robert S. Hanes (Michele) of Erie; his granddaughters, Lindsey and Ashley Bomboy; and his son-in-law Bryon Bomboy of Erie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar First Alliance Church (2939 Zimmerly Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the First Alliance Church of Erie.
