She was predeceased by: her parents, Santo DeFazio and Theresa DeFazio (Chiodo); her husband Joseph N. Cherico; her siblings, Sam (Pauline), John, Tony (Hazel), Jim (Yolanda), Art (Flora), Richard DeFazio, Mary Felice (Frank), Josephine Licata and Jennie Wroblewski (Ed); her nephews, Elmer Donato and Butch DeFazio; her niece Judy DeFazio; her great-nephew Trevor Donato; and her son-in-law Obie Obuszewski.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly (Bill Wehrle) and Christopher; and her sister-in-law Faye DeFazio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1617 Walnut St, Erie, PA 16502).
