It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rowand (Erie, Pennsylvania), born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Betty and John Cunningham; and her siblings, Donna Delores Freaney, Patrick Freaney (Patsy) and Thomas J. Freaney, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Sean Rowand (Lisa Hughes) of Erie, Amy (Craig Dennen) of Erie, Mary Bridget (Leonard Thome) of Port Neches, Texas and Maureen (Mark Formanski) of Erie; her grandchildren, Lucille Biebel, Virginia Thome of Port Neches, Texas, Nicholas Thome of Houston, Texas, Robert Dennen of Mayfield, Ohio, Sarah Formanski of Erie, Joseph Formanski of Linden Va and Michael Formanski of Erie; her great grandchild Michael Beal of Port Neches; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Freaney of Las Vegas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
