She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson and Della; her husband Curtis J. Johnson, Sr.; her son Nathaniel; her granddaughter Cherisse; her siblings, Charles E. (Thelma), Lewis C. (Aleatha), Walker A. (Janice), Leonard L. (Angela), Greta L. Marcus (Willie), Eugene D. (Beulah Mae), Mamie E. Leavell and Rebecca B. Leavell; and her sister-in-law Lovey A. Leavell.
She is survived by: her brother Daniel I. Leavell of Sandusky, OH; her sister-in-law LoDoris Leavell; and her nieces and nephews, Deacon Curtis J. Johnson, Jr. (Cathy), Richard A. Johnson (Joyce), Greta T. Johnson, Leonard A. Johnson (Conrad), Linda A. Johnson, Rosetta Johnson, Rebecca A. Hollamon (Larry) and Jessica C. Johnson (Donald).
