Barbara A. Dougherty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024, at the age of 84, Barbara A. Dougherty of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Jasinski and Helen Jasinski (Lojciekowski); and her siblings, Eugene, Thomas Jasinski and Helen Visnosky.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Dougherty; her children, Chip Dougherty (Kathryn), Jennifer Held, Michael Dougherty (Kathleen) and Anne Smith (Richard); her grandchildren, Lauren Philips (Liam) of Delaney Held, R. V, Coal Dougherty, Colleen Dougherty, Matthew Dougherty and Morgan Dougherty; and her great grandchild Jack Charles Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She believed in kindness and charity toward all, thus, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph and/or St. Paul's Food Pantry, places where Barb spent her time volunteering in the service of others.
