She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard W. Oman and Violet M. Muhlberger; her husbands, Roger W. Bower and Richard A. Huss; and her daughters, Patricia Frandsen (Eric), Susan Angelucci (John) and Emily Bower. She was also cherished by her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The Wissahickon Educational Opportunities Foundation (WEOF) is a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to enhance academic and extracurricular opportunities for students in the Wissahickon School District.
