He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X. MacMaster and Lucetta MacMaster (Basher); his sons, Alan and Ronnie Schrier; his grandson Andrew Schrier; and his siblings, Shirley Waxman and Bill MacMaster.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann (Hathaway); his children, Brenda Ramme (Richard), Van Schrier (Joanne), Brian MacMaster (Lynda) and Suzanne Tuttle (Faron); and his caregiver Wendy Harrison. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
