He was predeceased by: his father Raymond J Bates Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Linda Day; his stepfather Albert Day of Equinunk, PA; his daughter Kodee Bates Olyphant; his siblings, Colleen Lefferts of Beach Lake, PA and Raymond Bates of Germany; and his stepsiblings, Kevin Day (Suzanne) of Honesdale, PA and Donna Miszler (Jeff) of Hawley, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
