With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter B. Hughes of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Hughes Sr. and Irene E. Hughes (Fulmer); and his spouse Jessie N. Hughes (O'Neal). He is survived by: his children, Mona I. Murphy (Bradley) of Ephrata and Brian B. Hughes (Heather); his grandchildren, Leann Murphy, Lindsay Murphy, Braden Murphy and Carissa Murphy; his siblings, Robert Hughes, David Hughes Sr. and Nancy Melis; and his aunt Janice Fulmer.
