With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia M. Lutz (Ephrata, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Virginia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Phillips and Anna Phillips (McCartan); her husband Gilbert J. Lutz; her son Michael Lutz; her granddaughter Michelle Lutz; and her brothers, James Phillips and Richard Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Lutz of Wernersville, Christine Hummer (Gary) of Birdsboro and Kelley Weidman (Daniel) of Ephrata; and her sister Suzanne Ernesto of Shillington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church (320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Omph Catholic Church (320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522).
