He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton H. Yoder and Laura Yoder (Lamm); and his sister Roselyn Reber. He is survived by: his wife Doris I. (Gregor); his niece Judy Anderson (Bill); his stepchildren, Susan and Scott James; his great-niece Jessica Bridgland; and his stepgrandchildren, Mark, Patrick Hoffman, Jennifer Serna, Amanda, Lilly and Jessica James. He is also survived by six step-great-grandchildren.
