He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hornberger and Mary Hornberger (Lutz); his former wives, Rosie Hornberger (Hibshman) and Esther Lorraine Hornberger (Fry); and his siblings, Robert Hornberger, Dorothy Peretti, Betty Zimmerman and Patsy Buffenmyer.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Leed); his son Thomas (Diana Hornberger) of Wrightsville; his stepsons, Rick Beck of Ephrata and Robin Yarnes of Ephrata; his grandson Shane Hornberger; his stepgrandchildren, Wendy and Spencer; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Hope Hornberger. He is also survived by three step-great-grandchildren.
