Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A wake will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM. A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the St. Clement's Mission House Cemetery.
He wrote in his note of 1953: "God showered many graces upon me, not the least of which was a desire for fraternal charity and dogged perseverance no matter how great the battle.".
