He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Ahrens and Blanche M. Ahrens (Groh). He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Ahrens (DeLong); his daughter Amy Louise Denofa (Ahrens); his close friend Allison Rae Sneidman (James Sneidman); his granddaughters, Sarah Louise Sneidman (Emily Rae Sneidman) and Pop; his brother Richard K. Ahrens; and his brother-in-law Daniel P. DeLong (Donna DeLong). He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
