He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Raymond Ransom and Elma Hankins Ransom; his former wife Carolyn; his wife Joan; his brother Art; his sister-in-law Hazel; his sister Jessie Sipps; his brother-in-law Harold Sipps; his sister Barbara White; and his brother-in-law John White.

He is survived by: his children, Richard (Juli) of Albany, OR, Roxanne Burton (Bill) of Lititz, PA and Ralynn Norris (Will) of Bear, DE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charitable organization of your choosing.
