He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland C. Maxcy, Sr. and Helen Lewis Maxcy. He is survived by: his close friend Sandy Orth; his children, Kim (David Lappe) of Mountain Lakes, NJ and Jeffrey (Lisa Maxcy) of Glendale, AZ; his grandchildren, Meg Lappe of New York City, Douglas (Sarah Lappe) of Mountain Lakes, NJ and Katrina (Andrew Hawley) of New York City; and his sisters, Marjory (Francis Lee) of Fairfax Station, VA and Roberta Brogden of Fredericksburg, VA..
