He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kochel and Mary Kochel (Harnish); and his siblings, John, Ray Kochel, Ruth Newswanger and Reba McKee.
He is survived by: his son Rick Kochel (Ilene) of New Holland; his stepgrandson Brandon Wilson; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Paula Wilson.
A private graveside service at Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family due to current pandemic situation.
