He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles I. Markley and Sarah E. Markley (Moore); and his wife Doris J. (Kline). He is survived by: his children, Melissa (Scott Umfer) of Lansdale and Adam Markley of Ephrata; his grandsons, Ryan, Sean and Evan Umfer; and his siblings, Charles H. (Kathy Markley) and Frances Zimmerman.
