Kathryn May Martin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn May Martin (Ephrata, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Weaver (Burkholder) and David N. Weaver; her husband Weaver W. Martin; and her siblings, Hoover, David Weaver and Florence Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalind D. (Dennis Ernest) of Stevens, Fern Martin (Monroe Gilmour) of Black Mt, L. Merle Martin (Diane) of Reinholds and Carol Martin Johnson (Tim) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ernest (Emmalea), Rebecca Ernest, David Gilmour (Keosha Morgan), Aaron Gilmour (Emmi Lohrentz), Sarah Gilmour, Robert and Kathryn Martin Johnson (Katie); her great grandchildren, Ruth and Irene Ernest; and her brother John Weaver of Harrisonburg, VA.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27. Kathryn enjoyed being outside and thus to celebrate her life, when it feels COVID-19 safe, an outdoor event will be held for friends and family to be together and share memories.
