With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Irene Bechtel of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph William and Treva Leppo (Sterner) of Missouri; and her husband Cyril Richard Bechtel. She is survived by: her children, Louise (Gregory Barton) of Mountville, Douglas (Margaret Bechtel) of Lancaster, Janice (David Schell) of Mount Joy and Pamela (Kirk Felix) of Carlisle; her granddaughters, Leslie Dorchester, Bethany Barton, Meredith Grasser, Jolene Blackmon, Lauren, Kristin Bechtel, Jessica Frey, Mikaela Clemente, Erika Schell, Madelyn and Kathryn Felix; her great grandchildren, Gracelyn Dorchester, Cy Albert, Grayson Frey and Gunner Dorchester; and her siblings, Marietta (Oren Wildasin) of Brodbecks, Lorraine Moore (Carnell Dorsey) of Germantown, MD and Wendell (Carla Leppo) of York.
