He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam Witmer and Katie Witmer (Wenger); his son Dennis L. Witmer; his son-in-law Walter Benzinger; his grandson Christopher Sell; and his great grandchild Owen Horst.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Witmer (Weaver); his daughters, Sheryl Benzinger, Debra Sell and Judy Horst (Marvin); his grandchildren, Brian Benzinger (Kathryn Gauthreaux), Andrew Benzinger, Carmen Witmer (Brandon Boust), Elizabeth Witmer, Chad Sell (Preston Pujol), Brooke Sell, Davita Sell, Eric Horst (Lora), Tyler Horst and Jared Horst (Caroline Willems); his great grandchildren, Audrey and Olivia Horst; and also Lori Witmer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes (333 Wheat Ridge Dr, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wheatridge Chapel.
